Minor Rules
Here's a bunch of specific rules that are less important:
- Don't ping @Everyone.
- Don't spam ping people.
- Don't add inappropriate reactions to posts.
- Don't just appear in the site and ask to be a mod.
- Despite the fact that some badges require evidence to show that you are trusted, please do not post trust polls often.
- Content created by generative AI is not to be showcased as your own.
- For your own safety, don't share personal information including name, school district, or images of yourself.
Admins
There are only three admins, and they update, give badges, and ban members. They spend a lot of time maintaining the site.
If one of the current admins leaves, then they would make one of the moderators an admin. As such, you cannot apply to be an admin.
Admins vs. Moderator vs. Group Admin
You may be confused about the difference between the three different moderation levels. Here's a breakdown:
- Admins have all possible backend and frontend permissions, from editing the site to banning.
- Moderators have group admin in all groups. Some especially trusted moderators may have ban permissions.
- Group admins can add and remove members from groups. They can also delete and pin posts. If you create a group, you will become a group admin in it.
