I'm Christain, my friends don't see an issue with that, but most of my friends are either Atheist or a different religion. It's also been to a point of not always feeling comfortable brining up religion with some of them. I'm not sure if I'm a bad person for this or if it's just me being stupid. I know that my old Pastor had said that I should try sticking to Christain friends but for some reason I feel wrong for leaving my friends. Please give me guidance on this.
Several accounts in the Bible show Jesus dining with sinners, e.g, tax collectors, prostitutes. Yes, spending time with Christians is typically influential, but Jesus calls us to love everyone, not merely those who believe. Luke 6:32 states, "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them." In short, it is good to have friends with different beliefs.
What's your guys' denomination of Christianity?
I'm personally LDS.
